2010 Celebrations "AMAZING PLACES of AMERICA"
Brookdale Senior Living’s Celebrations program is an integral part of Optimum Life® and it is one key to setting Brookdale apart from all its competitors. Celebrations provides unique and regular opportunities to help senior living residents enhance their lives with unique experiences that touch each of the six dimensions of Optimum Life.
Each month, Brookdale Senior Living communities celebrate a theme that is a component of the annual Celebrations theme. Special events may include wonderful and exotic dining experiences accentuated by lively social opportunities. Celebrations helps to foster a sense of belonging between our residents and the community while increasing resident engagement in lifestyle programs and Life Enriching choices.
It is with great pride that Brookdale’s 2010 Celebrations Program pays homage to the “AMAZING PLACES of AMERICA”. From the mountains to the seas, we journey to the amazing places that we call “home”! Each monthly destination will be food for our souls, as we walk America, appreciating our creative accomplishments, rich history, heritage, and cultural identifiers, which make us Americans.
In 2010 we slow down to rekindle our patriotic love and allow ourselves to be awed once again by America’s amazing natural beauty! We take time to applaud our local heroes, and the hometown traditions that we treasure. We will explore our hearts – that place down deep – that makes us put our hand across our chests and pledge allegiance to the flag. We travel for the sake of curiosity and learning, but our American grand tour is more than an exploratory vacation. Our grand tour is a celebration of us as Americans, caretakers of a beautiful country, the land of opportunity; America!
